There Shall Be Eternal Summer
Hi and welcome to Drawn to DIY!
Last week, I posted a brush lettering printable using the Tombow Fudenosuke pen.
Today, I'm sharing a quote using the Zig Kuretake Clean Color Real Brush pen.
In case you're wondering where this year has gone, you're not alone. It's already mid-August and it seems like the past eight months went by in a blink of an eye! Can you believe stores are carrying Fall decor already?!
So I wanted to share this quote not because I'm against Fall or anything but it's a good reminder to look around once in a while and be grateful for what we have. Since we tend to associate summer with lightness, brightness, and vitality, why not continue to live in this state of mind at least by being kinder and more appreciative?

To make this, I used brush lettering first, scanned it, then simply created a clipping mask in Photoshop using a sunset photo I took a few weeks ago (similar process used here).
You might already know how much I love the Zig pens. I typically bring it along when traveling since I need not worry about spilling water or ink and cleaning up after I'm done. If you're new to brush lettering, I highly recommend starting with these.
See you again on Thursday for a bedroom DIY!
